On Fri Nov 6 Rethink the Drink continued its second Youthful 21 compliance check initiative with Rockmart City businesses that sell alcohol. The goal is to discover if any businesses will sell alcohol to a youthful looking individual who is at least 21 but has no ID.  In the pics below A.K. discovered ten businesses that did not sell to her. In return they received a reward card for asking to see her ID. Only one business let her purchase a 6 pack for of beer without showing an ID. This business was given a reminder card about the GA state law.

This past summer during the last compliance check seven Rockmart businesses out of eleven were reported to sell alcohol to a youthful individual without seeing an ID.

Stay tuned and before the new year (2016), Rethink the Drink will be reporting its specific findings and list the businesses receiving Reward and Reminder cards.
