According to some reports, alcohol and other drug use is declining among minors as the years progress. This is terrific news and we hope that the minors in Polk and Bartow Counties will contribute to these statistics! Please rethink the drink during the holidays and throughout all year! Your life is not benefited by illegally drinking and taking drugs. Your life can only be enhanced by avoiding them. Think logically and wisely! Make good, responsible choices. We’re here to help.

Another article surfaced on Bing News today suggesting a drunk driver might have been involved in a motor vehicle accident that led to the injury of 7 people. This holiday season, if you are at parties where alcohol is served, rethink the drink and make wise choices! Be a sober driver for friends who drink. Encourage your friends to choose alcohol-free beverage options. The holidays should be a happy, festive, and safe time of year. We’re here to support you in your choice to abstain from alcohol as a minor and to drink responsibly as an adult.

Articles like this one remind us of the dangers of driving while under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. If you are attending a party that serves alcohol this holiday season, be the sober driver for friends that may make poor choices. If you’re an adult, be responsible and NEVER drive after drinking. Never, EVER serve alcohol to minors if you’re an adult. Driving while under the influence can lead to death–either your own or someone else’s. Be wise. Rethink the drink.
